Cisco Construction Ltd. is a Belizean company established in 1978 under Chapter 206 of the Laws of Belize, whose major business activity is the construction of high ways, bridges and other highway ancillary works.
Cisco Construction Ltd. employs over 400 employees, owns over 150 pieces of heavy equipment and machinery, has the capacity to move over 1.2 million yds. of materials compacted in place and, in the dry season, has the capacity to pave 2 km of highway per week. We have developed in house expertise in Soils Analysis and Testing, Concrete Analysis and Testing, Aggregate Analysis and Testing, surveying, pile driving techniques, road design using computer models, and other computer construction models. Cisco Construction Ltd. is a self sufficient road construction company with crushers to provide concrete aggregates, crushed base materials and paving chips, mechanic shops and a vast communications network to handle all the logistics and coordination required by multiple locations.
The highway projects and other works have covered the entire spectrum of the country from the mountains of the Hummingbird to the swamp lamp of Ambergris Caye, from the City of Belize to the jungles of Belize, from the Northern border to the extreme Southern tip.
Cisco Construction Ltd. has built a reputation for safety, quality workmanship, and the completion of projects within time and financial budgets. The major highway projects in Belize have been funded by the World Bank, InterAmerican Development Bank, Caribbean Development Bank, International Cooperation and Development Fund – Taiwan, and the European Union. Projects have been supervised by international consulting firms such as Halcrow International, Beca International, Roughton International, Ingeroute and WSP International.
Cisco Construction Ltd. is the only Belizean company prequalified for highway/bridge construction by all the above mentioned companies.
